5-Day Club
Summer Good News Club is a FREE, exciting, fun-filled 90 minute Bible program held each day for four to five consecutive days, for children between the ages of five and twelve, regardless of religious background. Parents are welcome to attend with their child.
The club includes dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, an inspiring missionary story, meaningful songs, and life-changing Scripture memorization. Children learn biblical principles, moral values, character qualities, and respect for authority.
Where are Summer Good News Clubs held?
Anywhere there are children — daycares, apartment complexes, community centers, homes, churches, parks, even under a shade tree!
Who conducts these Clubs?
Although any trained and approved volunteer may lead a Summer Good News Club, the majority of clubs are conducted by students ages 13 through college age in our summer student ministry program, Christian Youth In Action (CYIA). If you have a student interested in learning to share their faith and looking for a summer adventure, this is one they will appreciate and remember the rest of their lives.
How can I host a Club?
Hosting takes three things:
- Pray for the club!
- Pass out invitations (that we provide) to children in your neighborhood.
- Provide simple refreshments for the children who attend.
We do the rest, by sending a team of young people to lead, manage, and teach the club. These summer missionaries have been trained at Christian Youth In Action, and they do a great job!
How can I help at a Club?
- Host a club in your daycare, home, or another facility you have access to
- Drive a ministry team to Summer Good News Club locations
- Help a teacher
- Pray for a Summer Good News Club
When do Clubs run?
Summer Good News Clubs begin June 3rd and run through August 6th, and we are already signing up host families. If you want information on hosting a club, or on how your child can be part of one, please contact your local chapter.
